About

I am a PhD Candidate at the University of Florida, and I am currently working on a dissertation on the historical and literary narratives of Solon and the context for his legal reforms and poetry in 7th-6th century Athens under the advising of Dr. Robert Wagman.

I read or write in my free time. I enjoy classical works of literature as much as simple and fun fiction, and I absolutely love Star Wars books. I also write poetry and short stories. My professional ambition is one day to write a book on Latin morphology and a Latin textbook.

My professional interests include all categories of ancient scholarship, including philology, archaeology, and historiography, but my main area of focus is ancient poetry. My interests outside of my work are wide-ranging, including physics, astronomy, biology, economics, politics, all periods of history, philosophy, and the list goes on. Astronomy and physics are responsible for offering me my biggest ideas and expanding my ever-growing understanding of what is possible in the universe.
